OVERVIEW

When used in conjunction with the Supply Point Inventory Management Solution, the RotoPoint provides a scalable and cost effective solution for the secure management of a wide range of high and low usage items for example PPE. The high capacity rotary format provides a very  economical cost per location solution.

The RotoPoint is an ideal solution where space is limited but the need for managing large number of different items is essential, for example, the management of a wide variety of gloves and hand tools

The RotoPoint solution is controlled using the standard SPS COMPLETE software or the SPS LITE software suite, providing full reporting, traceability and automated reordering capabilities.  

There are 6 types of RotoPoint machines available that can provide a standalone solution with up to 468 locations per machine.  The RotoPoint solution can be expanded by the using RotoPoint Add-on units to provide up to 4680 secure locations.

System operation is extremely simple and automatic capture of additional cost centre information such as job or cell can be performed for future cost analysis:

• Authorised user logs into the system and selects required item and quantity
• The RotoPoint drum rotates to the correct location and the user is directed to the correct compartment  using high brightness LED's
• User opens the indicated location, obtains required items and closes the cover which is automatically relocked.
