ECTC Add –On Unit ECTC represents our entry level access control solution, providing location level inventory security and management with minimal capital investment. ECTC units can be implemented using existing tool cabinet infrastructure or can be supplied as a complete turnkey solution . 
Operation of ECTC solutions is performed using the SPS LITE software suite, providing full reporting and traceability. ECTC systems are available in a wide range of cabinet sizes and drawer depths and can be easily expanded using ECTC add-on units to a maximum 10 cabinets per computer. System operation is extremely simple and automatic capture of additional cost centre information such as job or cell can be performed for future cost analysis: - Authorised user logs into the system and selects required item and quantity
- The system unlocks only the location containing the required items and guides the user directly to it using high brightness LED's
- User opens the indicated location, obtains required items and closes the drawer which is automatically relocked.
Emergency access to items (eg. during power failures) can be achieved in seconds with our innovative override mechanism which unlocks all drawers within the cabinet, ensuring continuous access to critical items.
