 A correctly configured ECTC system provides you with all the tools required to achieve an autonomous supply chain solution. Through the use of the EDI ordering package, SupplyPoint Complete provides a total automated supply management solution for consumables controlled through the SupplyPoint.
After defining usage parameters for each item, the EDI module can be configured to automatically produce replenishment orders based on a schedule basis (daily, weekly etc.) or upon reaching a critical reorder point. EDI order are handled intelligently, taking into consideration outstanding items which have been ordered, but not yet received; of course orders for multiple suppliers can also be controlled. Receipt of items is quick and simple, thanks to extensive use of barcoding technologies. Reports of outstanding orders, together with reports of received orders can be easily generated at any time using the extensive reporting functionality.
